It's been a great and innovative approach. I'm not sure that it facilitate computer working better; looks better but probably sometimes it makes lower flexibility, I mean before we are accustomed to using it.
One more thing, it would require pretty high performance computer.

HCI The Laws of Interaction Design - Moore's Law 2009/08/15 07:41
Gordon Moore (Intel co-founder)
This law was broken recently. Actually, This law cannot be kept without Samsung, Korean semiconductor company. Since 21th century, only Samsung have been able to make the double integrity, however, it has kept until 2007.
What meaning does Moore's Law have?
In terms of my experience, when planners design web services, they consider the possiblity of embodyment in present. It looks no problem, because most project would be finish in six months, and it is hard to expect of growth of technology. However, some projejcts take a long time more than 1 year, and other industry need more periods.
Imagine that, a project is considered to develop for 5 years. The planner who consider the present tech-level designs the project. After finish, the project is planned 5 years ago. That means It is already old-fashioned. However, if the planner can consider the tech-level after 5years, the finished project is not old-fashioned.
That's why the law influenced to the aero-space science strongly.
